Kissology: The Ultimate Kiss Collection Vol. 3 1992-2000
Rating: B
As far as quality goes, this is the best
of the bunch of the
Kissology
collection. Besides the improved sound and vision are the
inclusion of the entire MTV Unplugged Concert and the Holy Grail
Gig of Kiss Gigs: The Coventry show from 1973. The entire black
and white show, the earliest known filmed Kiss concert, is fun
to watch, even if the sound and film quality are lacking. It is
a must for Kiss fanatics to see the band at the very beginning.
The collection also
includes the reunion tour and the Palace of Auburn Hills show in
Detroit that was used for the Kiss
Alive III recording. There are
other shows ranging from 1996 to 2000. Alas this is just
another reason for Kiss fans to shell out the bucks for more
Kiss stuff but in the end it is a damn good collection that will
keep Kissaholics glued to the set for a solid ten hours per
viewing!
