You can surf the net
and see where everyone is thrilled with the new music
from one of rock’s bad boys but after listening to this
album it is clear to me this is a case of the Emperor’s
New Clothes. Someone has to say it: This is a loud,
convoluted mess of a CD.
Some of the excitement
is Bach featuring his reclusive buddy Axl Rose on three
tracks. Only the remake of "Back in the Saddle" is worth
listening too. The other two tracks, "(Love is) A
Bitchslap" and "Stuck Inside"
would have never made it onto a Guns n’ Roses album.
Bach does not so much
sing as he does scream. And it is not a pleasant sound.
The glory days of Skid Row are gone and Bach is a shell
of his former self. The music is loud -- really loud --
metal and for the most part it is played with talent but the
overall feel of this CD just makes one scream out, "Turn
that shit down!"
Sorry Sebastian, you missed the mark
again, no
matter what your loyal following says. Go to rehab,
search your soul and try again.
