Just in case you wonder what you are going to get for an opening act when you pay big bucks for Kiss tickets this fall, Buckcherry has released a new live album filled with their biggest hits and fan favorites.   

This band, still young, has already earned their stripes by traveling to hell and back, several times.  Now, they seem to be keeping their collective heads together and enjoying a rare second chance at success.   

The live album captures a band, part Metal, part Punk and part AC/DC, cranking up the tunes and rocking out with complete abandon.  The energy packed into Live & Loud 2009 is what is missing with most acts of the last 15 years.  THIS is what live rock ‘n roll should do to a person.  Whether it is a classic tune like “Lit Up” or “Tired of You” or something called “Lawless and Lulu” Buckcherry take no prisoners.  This is a band to watch for.  As good as they are, this writer has a sneaking suspicion that we ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
