Okay, this is not a music DVD. It is Monty Python. It
is comedy (to some). It is funny (to certain
individuals). I have not met many true rockers from the
Classic Rock era who do not worship at the throne of
Python. These guys were rock stars that happened to be
British, nerdy smartpantses. They made us laugh. It is
even rumored that many moons ago teenage rockers enjoyed
watching these shows late at night in the USA on public
television while lighting ceratin herbs and inhaling the
smoke into their lungs. I cannot verify this to be true
but others have told me tales of their own
misadventure.
This is a look behind the scenes with candid interviews
with the boys who made the magic happen. There are
three DVD’s in The Lawyer’s Cut. The interviews cover
the band of brothers from the very beginning to the
current day. Included are several classic sketches,
including “The Parrot Sketch” and “The Funny Walk.”
Python mania is alive and well.
