The cover says it all…. “We’ll rock you to hell and back again.”  Couple that with a hot blonde with feathered hair wearing a half shirt in front of a stack of Marshall amps and you know exactly what you are going to get with Outloud.  This is an entire CD of rockin’ riffs, jubilant jams and santabulous songs.   

Outloud don’t pretend that is it 1989 yet they know they are not making music that will get them on the radio in 2009.  They have the rock n’ roll attitude that shows they are going to rock their balls off and keep slamming it hard till the girl on the cover creams her jeans!  There is no pretentiousness on this album.  They are not living in the past yet they are making 100% pure guitar rock. It is a tough balance to be a rocking band in this day and age and Outloud have the look, the sound and the attitude to pull it off.   

“What I Need” starts it off and from there it just gets better.  “Breathtaking Fire” is a roundhouse of riffs while “Outloud” spells it out for anyone just to fucking dumb to get it.  This is a fun CD.  They should be up there with bands like Airborne and The Darkness as the next generation of hard rock.  Check this one out, you will likey it a lot.
